Placeholder version 1.0 — last updated September 2026

This page is a design and content placeholder for the DBMind AI prototype. It is not legal advice and does not constitute a finalized privacy policy. Before publishing, this content should be reviewed, completed, and approved by qualified legal counsel.

01Introduction

DBMind AI ("DBMind AI", "we", "us", or "our") provides database consulting, migration, performance optimization, reliability engineering, and AI-assisted database analysis services. This policy describes, at a placeholder level, how we would collect, use, and protect information in connection with our website and services.

02Information we collect

  • Contact details you provide (name, work email, phone number)
  • Company, role, and country, if provided
  • Information about your database environment, provided to scope an assessment
  • Communications you send us directly
  • Basic technical data collected automatically (see Cookies & Analytics)
  • Attribution data (landing page, UTM parameters, referrer) captured with an assessment request

03How we use information

  • Responding to assessment requests and consulting inquiries
  • Scoping, delivering, and supporting engagements
  • Internal prioritization and record-keeping
  • Sending requested updates, where you have opted in (see Marketing Communications)
  • Meeting legal, security, and compliance obligations

04Lead & consultation information

When you submit an assessment request, we record the information you provide together with consent details, tracked separately rather than as a single generic consent flag:

  • Privacy consent status, policy version, and timestamp
  • Terms of Service acceptance status, version, and timestamp (where applicable)
  • Marketing opt-in status and timestamp, tracked independently of service consent

Marketing consent is never required to submit a service request.

05Database/technical information

Our intake form is designed to avoid collecting credentials, connection strings, API keys, or customer personal data, and asks users not to submit these directly. Any technical or diagnostic material shared during an engagement is treated as confidential business information.

06Cookies & analytics

This site distinguishes between three categories of cookies:

  • Essential — required for core site functionality; cannot be disabled
  • Analytics — help us understand aggregate site usage; optional
  • Marketing — used to measure campaign performance; optional

Non-essential cookies default to OFF until you choose otherwise. See our Cookie Policy for full detail, or use "Cookie Preferences" in the footer to change your choice at any time.

07Marketing communications

We only send marketing communications to contacts who explicitly opted in via the marketing checkbox on our forms. You may withdraw consent at any time.

08Data retention

Placeholder principle: information is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law or active engagement agreements. Specific retention periods per data category should be defined by legal and data-governance review.

09Data security

  • Lead records are never exposed in client-side code or public APIs
  • All lead operations are validated and authorized server-side
  • Access to customer information is limited to personnel who need it to deliver services

10Third-party services

We may use third-party providers for hosting, analytics, email delivery, or scheduling. This section should list each processor once selected, and note whether they are essential or optional.

11Data subject rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to withdraw consent previously given.

12International data transfers

If information is processed in a country other than your own, this section should describe the safeguards used, once hosting and processing architecture are finalized.

13Children's privacy

This site and our services are directed at business professionals and are not intended for use by children.

14Changes to this policy

Material changes would be reflected by an updated version number and date at the top of this page.
